Automotive innovation has branched out in recent years, and the Jaguar brand is at the forefront in many of these new areas, but one area they seem to be focusing on comes in the form of electric vehicles, which includes both models for racing and those for consumers, although they share lots of great qualities that drivers from Solon to Westlake, OH will love in the brand-new Jaguar I-PACE.

The Panasonic Jaguar Racing team is competing in the final rounds of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, which is a race that only allows all-electric models, and Team Director James Barclay took some time to talk about how their team works closely with the engineers of the Jaguar I-PACE to give the soon-to-arrive SUV a racing spirit with everyday practicality.

While the racing team uses a different car, they have worked with engineers to optimize every area of the Jaguar I-PACE, from battery management to increase range and energy regeneration to the powertrain performance and the software that will give Garfield Heights drivers total control over the all-electric system.

The racing aspects of the Jaguar I-PACE are easy to see, it races from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds thanks to a ridiculous 512 pound-feet of torque, but there are also a range of convenient features and the luxurious ride you expect from the British automaker. Safety and driver-assist features, like adaptive cruise control, can handle certain driving tasks for Parma, OH drivers while in-car technology, like the touchscreen and WiFi hotspot, keep passengers connected and entertained, and with the newest DC ultra-fast charging, you won't have to wait long to have your battery back to full-charge!

The Jaguar I-PACE is exciting in more ways than one, and its racing onto our Cleveland lot soon, so come down to learn more about it!
